KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A policeman who hit his ex-wife, a police officer, in the face and causing her to bleed at the mouth, was fined RM1,300 by the magistrate's court here Monday (July 23).
Magistrate Maizatul Munirah Abd Rahman imposed the sentence on Corporal Sophian Sahrun, 36, after he pleaded guilty to the charge and ordered him to be sentenced to three months' jail if he failed to pay the fine.
