A school bus and a car which had been left marooned on top of a stationary barge for days at sea near Teluk Burau in Langkawi.

LANGKAWI (Bernama): The sight of a school bus and a car which had been left marooned on top of a stationary barge for days at sea near Teluk Burau here raised the suspicion of travellers who came to Paradise 101, a man-made island in the area.

However, such a sight did not surprise the staff at the island as Bernama was told that the two vehicles were actually being written off and were about to be towed by local fishing boats further out to the sea to be sunk and made into artificial reefs.
