MALAYSIANS should not be discriminated against in the workplace or any other environment due to their sexual orientation – provided that they keep quiet about it, said a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa, who oversees Islamic affairs, said this after a minister’s aide allegedly came under pressure to resign for being an activist in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues.
