Police arrest teacher suspected of molesting 10-year-old girl in Ampang, KL

PETALING JAYA: Police have made an arrest on a molestation case involving a 10-year-old girl and her teacher.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said that the arrest was made Wednesday (July 18).

“The police made the arrest in the Ampang area (near Kuala Lumpur) earlier today,” he said when contacted.

The case is being investigated under the Evidence of Child Witness Act 2007.

The case came to light via a Facebook post on Tuesday (July 17), alleging that the incident occurred in a school around Ampang in May.
