‘Dialogue on proposed link sugarcoated’

GEORGE TOWN: There was a public dialogue on the planned highway from Gurney Drive to the airport, but it was poorly done and residents continued feeling worried, said a former assemblyman.

Yap Soo Huey, who was the Pulau Tikus assemblyman in 2016, said the dialogue or public consultation session held in April that year was skewed towards painting a good picture of the proposed highway and did not address public worry.
