IGP: We will rebut Najib's claims that Amar Singh 'not qualified' in 1MDB probe

KUALA LUMPUR: The police are prepared to rebut allegations that Federal Commercial Crime Investigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Amar Singh was "not qualified" to pursue the 1MDB investigations, said Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

The Inspector-General of Police was responding to comments made by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who claimed that Amar's integrity could be disputed and was not qualified to become an advisor to the special 1MDB task force.
