KUALA LUMPUR: Senior lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has denied claims that he is charging former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak RM2.4mil in legal fees.
Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam had told the media that they had managed to raise sufficient funds to cover RM500,000 out of Najib's RM1mil bail, but not enough to pay the legal fees of RM2.4mil.
