PETALING JAYA: The 41-year-old man in a marriage with an 11-year-old girl must be prosecuted for child grooming under the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, Wanita MCA said.
Chairman Heng Seai Kie said the Act renders child (sexual) grooming a crime. Thus, the authorities should investigate the man, a self-proclaimed imam in Gua Musang, for communicating with the child with the intention to develop a sexual relationship.
