Muhyiddin: Special committee to resolve citizenship issue

PUTRAJAYA: A special committee headed by the Home Ministry and Human Resources Ministry will be set up to look into resolving drawn-out citizenship applications, said Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The Home Minister said he will chair the committee that will look to resolve around 200,000 cases of people waiting to get citizenship despite being born in Malaysia or living in the country for decades.
