GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government will have a meeting with the Transport Ministry on plans to expedite the expansion of Penang International Airport (PIA).
State Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Arts Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said the move was vital as the airport was nearing its maximum capacity of 6.5 million passengers.
