PUTRAJAYA: The appointment of Wan Saiful Wan Jan as the new chairman of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), was not a political appointment, said Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik (pic).
"The appointment of Wan Saiful, is not a political appointment," he said, adding that it was a "contingency plan" to save the situation and help settle the promise of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government on PTPTN loans.
