Khalid Samad, Hassan Ali settle defamation suit amicably

KUALA LUMPUR: A defamation suit filed by Shah Alam MP Khalid Abdul Samad against former Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Dr Hassan Ali has been settled amicably.

In confirming the matter on Friday (June 29), Khalid's counsel Muhammad Faiz Fadzil said that High Court Judicial Commissioner Rohani Ismail has ordered Hassan to pay RM200,000 in damages.
