KOTA BARU: The Kota Baru Islamic City Municipal Council (MPKB-BRI) have effectively blocked a syndicate involved in the theft of coins from parking meters by introducing a new coupon system.
MPKB-BRI Public Relations chief assistant director Azman Mohd Daham said it was the best way to outsmart the thieves who have cost the council losses amounting to about RM100,000 in its annual collection.
