NABAWAN: For the past 28 years, a hostel here has served as a second home for hundreds of poor students who come from the interiors to study at SM Nabawan.
Located in the Crocker Range valley, some five hours by road from Kota Kinabalu, the Butitin Hostel charges some 80 students staying there only RM1 a day.
