PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus (pic) has been appointed as Bank Negara Malaysia governor for five years effective July 1.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V had consented to the appointment, upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
