PETALING JAYA: The conflict between AirAsia and the Malaysian Aviation Commission is heating up with the airline calling for the granting of route approvals by the Transport Ministry, and not Mavcom.
“The Transport Ministry understands the importance, and values the benefits, of a fully liberalised aviation industry, and has consistently granted the necessary route approvals as long as bilateral rights are available,” AirAsia said in a statement yesterday.
