JOHOR BARU: The Johor Sultanate, since the reign of its second Ruler Almarhum Sultan Sir Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar in 1899, has always donated its allowances allocated by the state government to aid the needy among Bangsa Johor.
According to a statement by the Royal Press Office yesterday, the effort was continued during the time of Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail where the allocation was channelled to a foundation known as Yayasan Sultan Iskandar.
