PETALING JAYA: The Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) must respect the independence of Malaysia’s judiciary, said MCA's Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker.
The MCA publicity spokesman was referring to an incident where Chief Justice Tun Md Raus Sharif and Court of Appeal president Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin were allegedly summoned to meet CEP chairman Tun Daim Zainuddin recently.
