KUALA LUMPUR: Federal Territories Mufti Datuk Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri called for a study of the Islamic Development Department (Jakim).
"The Prime Minister said on Wednesday (June 6) that the issue is not one of abolishing Jakim, but one of looking at the roles and how to better enhance and empower Jakim," said Dr Zulkifli.
