GEORGE TOWN: Seven families lost the roof over their heads after being evicted from their homes at the People’s Housing Projects (PPR) in Rifle Range on Tuesday.

Dishwasher Hairoon Shaikati, 58, said for the past 18 years, Rifle Range had been home to her and her odd-jobber son, 27, as well as two elderly brothers.
