PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry will enhance 1Malaysia Clinics by posting doctors and a proper drug dispensing unit there as a way to address the long waiting time for patients in government health facilities, said its minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
“One way (of addressing long waiting time) is to transform 1Malaysia Clinics into ‘rakyat clinics’,” he told a press conference after his first monthly meeting with ministry staff yesterday.
