KOTA KINABALU: An average of 47 hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) cases are reported weekly in Sabah this year, an uptick by 27% compared to the weekly statistics for 2017.
The Sabah Health Department recorded 940 HFMD cases and 30 statewide outbreak episodes up to May 19 this year, said department director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi.
