GEORGE TOWN: About seven families were evicted from their rented homes at the People's Housing Projects (PPR) in Rifle Range here for not paying their rent.
The tenants, who have high rent and maintenance arrears, were evicted in an enforcement operation carried out on Tuesday morning (Apr 5), where the units were locked up.
