Flood woes continue in Sarawak's Long Bemang settlement

MIRI: The Long Bemang longhouse in Ulu Baram in interior northern Sarawak continues to be inundated with flood water.

Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong said heavy rain and an overflowing river caused floodwaters to reach as high as a metre on Friday (June 1).
