GEORGE TOWN: A student, who hanged herself after being accused of stealing her teacher’s handphone had confessed to “standing watch” while her schoolmate carried out the act, a Coroner’s Court heard.
Teacher S. Paramasivam testified that Vasantha Piriya, 14, had admitted that “we did it” but she was only standing outside the teachers’ room at SM Methodist in Nibong Tebal.
