Johor to build 100,000 affordable houses under RMMJ scheme


ISKANDAR PUTERI: Johor is planning to build 100,000 affordable houses under the Rumah Mampu Milik Johor (RMMJ) housing scheme.

Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian said prices of the RMMJ houses will remain at RM42,000, RM80,000 and RM150,000 each.

"100,000 houses will be built by the new state government within the next five years," he told reporters after delivering his keynote address on Thursday (May 24) to civil servants at the Bangunan Sultan Ismail in Kota Iskandar here.
