GEORGE TOWN: Hari Raya cookies with a modern twist are in high demand this year, as the traditional ones like kuih bangkit have seemingly been replaced by colourful ‘baby’ macaroons instead.

Cake studio co-owner Azizah Abdullah, 51, said orders for ‘modern’ Raya cookies had increased three times compared to last year.
