Amar Singh may keep working after official retirement date to lead 1MDB probe

PETALING JAYA: Amar Singh, (pic) the top cop leading the investigations into 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), may have his contract of employment extended by six months.

Sources said the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director, who is supposed to retire on June 6, is expected to stay on due to his knowledge of the ongoing 1MDB probe.
