Muhyiddin reports for duty at Home Ministry

PUTRAJAYA: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin officially started work at the Home Ministry on Tuesday morning.

The newly minted Home Minister clocked in at 9am at the ministry headquarters here.

He is scheduled to chair a meeting of all department and agency heads under the ministry.

Muhyiddin, who is Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president, is also expected to address the media on his plans for the ministry later in the afternoon.

Muhyiddin became the Home Minister following a swearing in ceremony at the Istana Negara on Monday (May 21).

Among those present to welcome the new minister are Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun and Immigration director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali.
