PETALING JAYA: With more than 150 dogs to feed and countless puppies to rehome, canine welfare project Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) will be at two places at about the same time on Sunday (May 20).

MDDB will be at the annual Pet World expo at the Mid Valley Convention Centre from 10am to 9pm where it hopes to raise both dog food and funds.

“We are running short of dog food and well wishers can purchase the product from any of the many vendors there for a discounted price for us,’’ said MDDB adoption coordinator Christine Lai.

She said donors need to call 016-6674193 and inform where the food was bought and an MDDB volunteer will come over and collect, said Lai.

“We have many puppies up for adoption and those who want to donate in cash and kind can drop off the items at the venue,’’ she said.

Lai can be contacted at 012-2414749.
