Kit Siang not interested in minister role

PETALING JAYA: DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang (pic) has made it clear that he did not want to be made a minister in the new Cabinet.

China Press reported that the Iskandar Puteri MP had declined any position in the new Cabinet, claiming that there was enough capable talent in the new ministerial line-up.

Despite not having a minister post, Lim assured that he will continue to push for reforms to create a better Malaysia.

In the current ministerial line-up announced by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, DAP has four ministers consisting of Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, Transport Minister Anthony Loke, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Minister Gobind Singh Deo and Human Resource Minister M. Kulasegaran.
