GEORGE TOWN: It will soon be a dream come true for Penang’s Ayer Itam folk to reach Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway without going through the ‘dreaded’ Jalan Masjid Negeri during rush hour.

All that is left blocking the start of the construction of the elevated link from Ayer Itam and the expressway is the acquisition of a piece of land belonging to Transport Ministry along the way.
