A witness, Sharmila Ganapathy, said she heard the shots originating from a goldsmith shop on the ground floor at about 5.15pm.
Sharmila, a technology journalist, said she later saw two men – who look to be in their 30s to 40s – being handcuffed and led away by police.
It is believed that three other men were shot.
Selangor CPO Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor confirmed the incident.
A Twitter user said there was an exchange of fire between police and unknown person(s). This is what she tweeted at 5.27pm.
