GEORGE TOWN: Fourteen supporters of a political party were remanded for their involvement in two scuffles at the tallying centres in Jelutong and Bukit Minyak.
State police chief Comm Datuk A. Thaiveegan said the suspects, aged 21 to 51, had attempted to stop vehicles from carrying the ballot boxes into the centres on polling day.
