SEREMBAN: After the Nomination Day hubbub where state Barisan Nasional chief Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan was the only candidate returned unopposed nationwide, campaigning in Negri Sembilan was a largely subdued affair.

Except for a handful of ceramah attended by political bigwigs, most candidates chose to go house-to-house or at popular gathering places such as markets to convince voters why they are deserving of support.
