EC: Ballots without the official stamp can still be counted as valid

PETALING JAYA: The Election Commission has said that ballot papers that don’t have their official stamp can still be considered as valid.

Its chairman Tan Sri Hashim Abdullah said that the presiding officer and the polling agents can use their discretion to allow such a ballot to be counted.
