Penampang Warisan finally get tags, letters for Paca volunteers after six-hour wait

KOTA KINABALU: After a six-hour wait at the Election Commission (EC) district office that culminated in a police report being lodged by Parti Warisan Sabah, the opposition party finally managed to get the necessary appointment letters and tags for those volunteering as its polling and counting agents (Paca) in the Penampang constituency.

Warisan deputy president Darell Leiking, who is the incumbent Penampang MP and is defending his seat in GE14, said his agent, Jane Manjaji, waited for the EC returning officer and assistant returning officer outside the district office since Tuesday morning.
