KAMPAR: Cancer patient Teoh Hong Heong was determined to cast her vote on Wednesday (May 9) but the 61-year-old mother of four's wish did not materialise as she succumbed to her illness on Sunday (May 6).

Her son, Chai Wai Hou, a 29-year-old salesman from Kampung Baru Malim Nawar here, said his late mother had told him how much she wanted to perform her responsibility as a citizen, despite being ill.
