A PUPPY which fell into a monsoon drain was rescued by an engineer-turned-MacGyver in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Milind Raj, 27, used a modified drone for the rescue, Tamil Nesan reported.

With a crane-like attachment on the drone, he flew it down the drain and managed to retrieve the puppy.

The puppy was fine although it regurgitated some plastic objects and water it had swallowed while trying to stay afloat in the drain.

Milind’s feat earned praises after videos and photos of his action went viral online.
