BN's Malim Nawar candidate alleges phone hacked to send out hate messages

Chang Gwo Chyang

IPOH: Barisan Nasional’s Malim Nawar state seat candidate Chang Gwo Chyang (pic) has alleged that his phone number has been hacked to send out hate messages against Pakatan Harapan leaders.

In his Facebook page Tuesday, the Kampar MCA division deputy chairman said he only realised the matter after being informed by party members.

“I would like to categorically state that the messages are fake and malicious.

“I strongly condemn such actions, which are meant only to confuse and weaken our campaign,” he said.

“I would like to call on all our members, supporters and voters to keep calm and ignore such malicious messages,” he said.

Chang will face the incumbent Leong Cheok Keng of DAP and PSM’s K. S. Bawani in GE14.
