TANGKAK: Johor Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin has criticised Pakatan Harapan for not naming its mentri besar designate for the state.

He trained his guns on state Pakatan chief Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is contesting the Gambir state and Pagoh parliamentary seats in GE14.

"The rakyat of Johor want to know who will be their mentri besar.

"Muhyiddin announced Pakatan's manifesto here, but did not state who will be their MB.

"He should just say if he will be the mentri besar," he said in his speech when opening four bridges in Sengkang here Thursday (April 3).

Mohamed Khaled advised voters to be wary of the Opposition's move to field Muhyiddin in Johor.

"Don't vote just because of big names," he said

Muhyiddin is vying to wrest the Gambir seat from three-term Barisan incumbent Datuk M. Asojan.

Also in the three-cornered fray is PAS syura council president Datuk Dr Mahfodz Mohamed.

Asojan won the seat by a slim 310-vote majority against Dr Mahfodz and two independents in GE13.
