PUTRAJAYA: There are now 17 women judges in the country’s appellate courts and the Chief Justice does not rule out that one day the top four positions in the judiciary might even be taken by women.
Tun Raus Sharif said the appointment and promotion of the women judges were not to fill up any quota but was instead based on their merit and performance.
