KUALA LUMPUR: The oldest Malaysian mountaineer, James Lee Chong Meng, who is making his third attempt to conquer Mount Everest, has arrived at Everest Base Camp (EBC).
Hoping to be third time lucky, the 70-year-old Lee described the situation at the EBC yesterday “as extreme in many situations with freezing temperatures and an unreliable phone line”.
