KOTA KINABALU: With seven candidates, the Merotai state seat, under the east coast Kalabakan parliamentary constituency, is seeing the biggest electoral field in GE14.
The hotchpotch in the Barisan Nasional-held Muslim bumiputra-majority seat is being contested by Barisan’s Lim Ting Kai, a new face of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), and candidates from Parti Warisan Sabah, PAS, Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah, Parti Amanah Negara, Parti Kebangsaan Sabah and a wildcard entry from the dormant Usno Baru.
