JELI: Immediately after all candidates for the Jeli parliament and state seats had filed their nomination papers, news leaked out that the Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Kuala Balah state seat may not be able to contest.

Dr Mohd Hafidz Rizal Amran, who is from PKR, left the nomination centre after 10am. An hour later, the rejection was confirmed by returning officer Zulkifle Abdul Rahman when he announced the full candidate list.
