BUTTERWORTH: The announcement for the Bagan parliament candidates was held up due to the changed logo of Parti Cinta Malaysia.

The PCM logo, which was changed recently, had not been updated in Election Commission database.

PCM vice-president Datuk Huan Cheng Guan was seen frantically making calls to get the matter solved.

"I have sent a letter to the Registrar of Societies (RoS) but they did not inform EC," said Huan.

The announcement of the candidates was held up as EC officers tried to sort out the issue.
