Candidate under court remand contesting Pengkalan Kota seat

GEORGE TOWN: A man who is being charged in court and currently placed under remand, is standing as an independent candidate in Pengkalan Kota.

Lawyer Datuk Syahril Rezwan, who represented 58-year-old S. Ragindran arrived at Dewan Sri Pinang together with proposer Lim Chong Eng, seconder M. Xavier Manimaran and Ragindran's wife to file the nomination form at 9.07am Saturday (April 28).
