DAP ‘cyber scout’ probed over video shared in party chat group

GEORGE TOWN: A DAP volunteer tasked with keeping an eye on social media posts was arrested after sharing a video clip which allegedly tarnishes the image of Pakatan Harapan.

Jeffrey Chew, the state DAP assistant treasurer, was arrested on Wednesday under the Sedition Act and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
