PETALING JAYA: Former Bersih 2.0 chairman Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan (pic) has slammed PKR over its mounting high-level internal strife.

“When the rakyat are doing everything in their power to overcome obstacles to ensure they can vote and to help in the election, this nonsense in PKR is unforgivable,” she said on Twitter yesterday.

Similar views were shared by constitutional lawyer Syahredzan Johan, who appealed to the party to sort out its differences.

“We are so close to the finish line, yet right now you are threatening to self-implode.

“Please, please, please sort this out, do not let down the people’s palpable desire for change,” he tweeted.

The Star reported that tensions have risen between PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and her deputy Datuk Seri Azmin Ali over the candidate list for Selangor.
