PETALING JAYA: Taxi drivers who have not received their 1Malaysia Taxi Drivers Welfare Card, despair not. The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) has set a three-month deadline until July 16 for all to collect their cards.
SPAD said it would continue distributing more of the welfare cards to cabbies from today, adding that the cards would be activated upon collection by the drivers and can be used to purchase petrol or natural gas for vehicles at Petronas stations across the country.
